Deceptive Vows

In midst of passion do I forget my very own
existence?
You have forsaken me for ill lust and worldly
riches
Dramatic life as if on stage performed, I
have dwelled
On a rainy night will I leave this sinful
abode
Heading for the hereafter I will look down at
bizarre sights
Fake tears are what you will shed near my
resting place
Showing the world you always loved me for
real & nothing else
But nah! I can see your selfish self from up
above
So feeble was who I once loved
I can forgive and forget, but what about my
innocent soul?
After my heart was dug deep under soil
It can not conceal its feelings no longer
No more I’m victim of beauty & deceptive

I fear reincarnation in the same world as
you
I always recall that summer night as sweet
winds blew
When I said “I love you” and you said “me
too”
I looked you in the eyes & persuaded myself
What you whispered was the truth
That situation was so, that you took for a
fool
But let me enlighten you with something
fairly new
I have always been a warrior and bravado is
my tool
